International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE (IMJM) ,we prioritize transparency and impartiality in the publication process. A conflict of interest occurs when an author, reviewer, or editor has an association that could potentially bias or influence their judgment, decision making, or the evaluation of a manuscript. These conflicts can be financial, non-financial, personal, or professional, and may involve an individual or an organization. At YBN University’s International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE, we prioritize transparency and impartiality in the publication process. Authors
Authors are required to disclose any affiliations or activities that might influence or appear to influence the content of their work. This includes, but is not limited to, employment, consultancy fees, research funding, stock ownership, patents, honoraria, and advisory roles. In accordance with the guidelines on “Author Responsibilities—Conflicts of Interest,” authors must submit a completed Disclosure Form when submitting their manuscript. This form must be included under the “additional files” section of the submission or emailed directly to metainnovateybnujournal@ybnu.ac.in
Reviewers
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the journal’s editors that could affect their objectivity when reviewing a manuscript. If a reviewer recognizes a conflict, they should recuse themselves from evaluating the manuscript. Reviewers are expected to provide unbiased feedback and must not use the review process to advance their own personal or professional interests. Please use the review form available in your reviewer login area to disclose any conflicts of interest.
Editors and Journal Staff
Editorial decisions must be made impartially by editors who have no personal, financial, or professional interest in the content they evaluate. If other editorial staff are involved in the decision-making process, they are required to disclose any financial interests that may influence their judgment and refrain from participating in any decision where a conflict of interest exists. All information obtained from manuscripts during the editorial process must remain confidential and not be used for personal gain. Editors who submit their own work for publication must delegate responsibility for managing the manuscript to another editorial staff member and refrain from any discussions or decisions regarding their submission.

Fast-Track Review Process
International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE (IMJM) offers an expedited review process for authors wishing to submit their manuscripts for fast-track consideration. This process is intended for research that presents new, groundbreaking discoveries of exceptional importance. Manuscripts that are highly significant but complex may not be eligible due to the time constraints of the expedited review.
Submission Guidelines

Cover Letter:: Authors must include a cover letter explaining the reason for requesting fast-track review.

Overlap Statement: Authors must clearly state whether the manuscript overlaps with any previously published or submitted work.
Fast-Track Review Procedure
- Initial Editorial Review: After submission and assigning a manuscript ID, the Editor-in-Chief will review the manuscript within 10-14 days to determine if it qualifies for fast-track processing.
- Decision: If the fast-track request is denied, the author will be given the option to place the manuscript in the regular review process. The author must respond within one week; otherwise, the manuscript will be rejected.
- Review Timeline: If accepted for fast-track processing, the review process, including acceptance or rejection, will be completed within 5-6 weeks. This decision is final, and rejected manuscripts will not be reconsidered through the regular review process.
- Minor Revisions: If the manuscript is accepted with minor revisions, these must be completed by the author within one week.
- Publication: Accepted fast-track manuscripts will be published in the next available issue.

Peer-Review Process
At YBN University, manuscripts submitted to the International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE (IMJM) undergo a thorough and rigorous peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality.
Initial Evaluation
Each submitted manuscript will first be reviewed by an experienced editor to assess its adherence to the journal's ethical guidelines and preparation standards. The manuscript must meet the following criteria:
- Proper Formatting: The manuscript should be correctly formatted and follow the journal’s submission guidelines.
- Ethical Compliance: Authors must ensure all necessary disclosures are included and comply with the ethical standards set by the journal.
- Reference Accuracy: A check will be conducted to verify the accuracy of references. Incomplete, misleading, or incorrect references may result in desk rejection.
- Language Review: The manuscript will undergo an evaluation of the English language used. If necessary, authors may be asked to have the manuscript edited by a professional language editor or native speaker.
- Plagiarism Check: The manuscript will be screened for plagiarism to maintain originality and academic integrity.
Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors for revision or resubmission. If a manuscript lacks originality, contains major scientific or technical flaws, or does not meet the journal’s requirements, it may be rejected without undergoing formal peer review.
Peer Review
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial evaluation will proceed to a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field.
Editorial Decision and Revisions
After the peer review, the editor will carefully consider the feedback from the reviewers to make a final decision on the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief will take into account the reviewers' comments, and the journal may consult with additional experts or editors as necessary.
Authors are expected to respond to all reviewer comments in a clear and detailed manner, providing point-by-point explanations in their response letter. If there is any disagreement with a reviewer or editor’s comments, authors must clearly address and justify their stance in their rebuttal.
Plagiarism Policy
YBN University’s International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE (IMJM), we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else’s work, ideas, or words as one’s own, and this includes self-plagiarism, where an author reuses their own previously published work without proper citation. Such practices are strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism Detection
All manuscripts submitted to International Multidisciplinary Journal METAINNOVATE (IMJM) are carefully screened for plagiarism using Drill Bit, a leading plagiarism detection tool. We take plagiarism very seriously, and any manuscript found to have more than 30% similarity or duplication with existing sources will be automatically rejected. If the plagiarism rate is under 30%, authors will be asked to revise the manuscript, ensuring that proper references are included wherever necessary.
Understanding Plagiarism
Plagiarism can take many forms, including, but not limited to:
- Direct Copying: Reproducing someone else’s work or ideas without citation.
- Reusing Portions of Work: Copying text, figures, tables, or illustrations from another source without acknowledgment.
- Internet Content: Using text, images, or other media found on the internet without providing proper credit.
- Self-Plagiarism: Reusing significant parts of one’s own previously published work without proper citation. If an author reuses material from their own prior publications and cites the original work, this is not considered self-plagiarism, even if the content appears verbatim.
- Plagiarism Check: The manuscript will be screened for plagiarism to maintain originality and academic integrity.
Types of Plagiarism
- Accidental Plagiarism: Sometimes, authors may unintentionally copy text or ideas without realizing it. It is the responsibility of the author to be familiar with the differences between quoting and paraphrasing and to use the correct citation styles.
- Deliberate Plagiarism: This occurs when authors knowingly submit someone else’s work or ideas as their own, including purchasing or borrowing research papers and presenting them as original.
Originality and Copyright
Plagiarism is not only an ethical violation but also a breach of copyright laws. Authors are expected to present original work and provide proper attribution for any sources used. We emphasize the importance of intellectual honesty and encourage authors to ensure that all borrowed ideas and materials are appropriately referenced.
